Special education program
The Cavendish Road State High School Special Education Program was
established in 1956 and continues to have high enrolment numbers. It is located within the campus of the main school.
With a complex and highly co-ordinated inclusive curriculum and support framework, students with a verified diagnosis of vision impairment and/or intellectual impairment and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Speech & Language impairment are able to maximise their learning outcomes.
Educational, social and vocational potential is reached in an environment constructed upon the principles of social justice.
