Students and families interested in learning more about the range of programs offered through Cavendish Road State High School are welcome to attend our annual Open Day held in March for our Year 7, 2018 intake.
A range of sessions including tours of the school's specialist facilities, musical performances, talks from school staff and opportunities to ask questions of students will provide you with the complete picture of what our school can offer students seeking enrolment.

Academies of Excellence enjoy extensive partnerships with The University of Queensland, Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology to ensure Year 7 to University pathway success, through our school based University programs.
Students in Years 7 and 8 study Philosophy, learning how to think critically and creatively and have the opportunity to study Philosophy through to University.
Year 7 students (approximately 50%) achieved in the Upper Two Bands in all areas of NAPLAN in 2016.
Years 9, 10 and 11 students are the first in Australia to tour world class Universities in America to pursue post-school scholarship opportunities including Columbia University and New York University.
Award winning Principal has received a Scholarship to Study at Harvard University and is a Sir Winston Churchill Fellowship recipient.
