As part of our Personal Development Program (PDP) for students in year 11 at Cavendish Road State High School, we provide a leadership camp during the first week of term 4 each year.
The objectives of these 3 day camps are as follows:
- To continue the processes of students identifying and developing their personal “style” in life.
- To continue exposing students to situations involving group work and team dynamics with people they do not usually work with.
- To provide opportunities for each student’s leadership qualities to come to the fore.
As a school, we feel very strongly that it is in the best interest of students that they attend, as the camp is designed as part of the overall curriculum program for students at Cavendish Road State High School.
