Parental involvement in your student’s education is greatly encouraged at Cavendish Road SHS. It is essential in high school, as in primary school, to be informed and involved in order to provide the best support for your high school student.

One way to do this is to be involved with the Parents' and Citizens' Association. All parents, guardians, carers and friends are most welcome to participate in the Association's endeavour to have a major input into the life of the school.

Communication to Parents

Reports will be issued four times a year for Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 and twice a year for Year 12 with an Exit Statement for them in December. At the end of Terms 1 and 3 an Interim Report will be issued (no Term 3 report for Years 10 and 12). Semester reports are issued in July and December. A parent-teacher afternoon is scheduled after the issue of the Interim Report (May and October) and individual interviews are organised after the issue of the Semester 1 Reports (July).
